With your help, Dungeon Alliance: A Webcomic Adventure
will embark on a new series of adventures this fall.
Quixotic Games is proud to announce the launch of our first Webcomic Kickstarter on August 17 at 12 Noon EST. If we reach our funding goal, we will be able to continue creating epic stories in the world of Dungeon Alliance.
The Slayer's Dungeon will feature a new script by award-winning game designer Andrew Parks, with art by EJ Dela Cruz and editing by Sarah Parks, the same creative team that brought you the legendary webcomic adventure, Kastrom's Tomb.
THE SLAYER

Deep in the rugged mountains of Kumec lies the realm of The Slayer, the otherworldly being who tests the adventurers of the Old World relentlessly for his own inscrutable purposes. Neither good nor evil, the Slayer lures the greatest heroes of Corundum to his dungeon with promises of wealth, glory, and power.
But none may pass through his dungeon without facing his kingdom's greatest challenge: the Slayer's Arena. When the mood strikes the merciless host, the mighty lord himself enters the Arena to challenge those guests who deserve his special attention.
Two different Alliances enter the Slayer's Dungeon on the same fateful evening, each unaware of the other. Will both companies survive the perils of the Slayer's subterranean realm, or will only one party live to tell the tale?
And what happens when the two teams meet face to face in the center of the dungeon?

Dungeon Alliance: A Webcomic Adventure began in January 2019 as a way of promoting the Dungeon Alliance board game, but it has grown into so much more. Readers of the webcomic have been able to follow the adventures of their favorite characters as they've developed and grown over the past 18 months.
Creating the webcomic is expensive, however, so we won't be able to continue creating these stories on our own. That's where you come in! We need your help to continue creating Dungeon Alliance stories, and we're counting on you to spread the word to all of your friends when the campaign goes live in mid-August.
But what would a Kickstarter be like without cool rewards for all of our hard-working supporters? Don't worry! We've got lots of those too!

There will be two main reward tiers. The first tier will be the PDF Tier, which unlocks PDF versions of our first two stories, Kastrom's Tomb (recently finished) and Lair of the Basilisk (halfway finished). You'll receive the first PDF soon after the Kickstarter ends, and the next as soon as the story is done.
The PDF Tier will also include the PDF version of The Slayer's Dungeon when it's complete, as well as PDF versions of any other stories that might be unlocked as Stretch Goals during the campaign (more on these in the future!).
Our second reward tier is the Book Tier, which includes all of the PDF versions listed above, as well as printed copies of both Kastrom's Tomb and Lair of the Basilisk!
The Book Tier also includes something special as a bonus for fans of the Dungeon Alliance board game (see below)!

The Book Tier will also include a bonus set of 15 Alternate Art Monster Cards for the base game of Dungeon Alliance. These cards will allow players to have more complex art for their Monster Encounter Cards while still featuring a small icon version of the original monster art. These small monster icons will help you match the cards with their corresponding Monster Tokens and Dungeon Tiles.
This set of Monster Cards is a free bonus for backers of the Webcomic Kickstarter. After the backers receive their rewards, the cards will also be available for purchase in the Dungeon Alliance Store.

During the coming weeks, we'll be releasing more information about the upcoming Kickstarter, including the launch date, story-based stretch goals, and details about the epic storyline of The Slayer's Dungeon.
